DEI Resources for schools

Blogs, books, and resources can be invaluable tools for schools to better understand diversity and inclusion. Blogs provide a platform for our Collective and partners to discuss their knowledge and experiences with diversity and inclusion, which can help your school gain a better understanding of how their own practices might be impacting marginalized groups.

We have also collated a collection of books compiled by our GEC Community of parents, teachers, authors (and kids!) GEC Best Books is our annual round-up of the absolute best books out there for Smashing Stereotypes. We have grouped them into themes so you can easily find books to smash specific stereotypes but many of the books smash multiple stereotypes - so have a good browse around.

You’ll also find a number of resources below that we have put together to provide schools and parents with the practical information they need to create more inclusive environments. By utilising these sources of knowledge, schools can gain a greater depth of understanding about the value we offer that will help you navigate the complexities of diversity and inclusion, and help you build on our inclusion revolution.

If you like what you see and want to make ordinary classrooms extraordinarily inclusive in your school then join our inclusion revolution!

More can be done in schools around body image

We spotted an issue, found there was a data gap, and decided to plug it! Following research conducted by Nic Ponsford, our CEO & Founder of the Global Equality Collective (GEC) and Collective expert, Tommy Hatto, Founder of THO, we have recently published a report on body image:

“Understanding the impact of body image in young people.”
