Introduction:
The Equal Group was established to give organisations the tools and support needed to reap the advantages of embracing equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I). Our passion comes from a deep-seated belief that ED&I benefits not only individuals but organisations, sectors and society as a whole. Changing attitudes in the workplace can be a catalyst to how we interact with our colleagues in and outside the office or other environments. Embedding ED&I is not always easy, so we aim to simplify this as much as possible, ensuring that the organisations we work with are equipped with the skills and knowledge to continue their ED&I journeys after our engagement period. Our approach ensures that our clients are not dependent on The Equal Group to achieve intersectional, measurable and sustainable ED&I progress in future.
Offer:
The Equal Group is offering an incredible opportunity to 20 London-based further education providers to join a FREE 12-month Programme, sponsored and fully funded by the Greater London Authority, designed to enhance inclusivity, representation, and employee well-being at your organisation.
The Programme aims to support providers to meet two of the mayor’s expectations set out in the Mayor’s Skills Roadmap for London:
Be good employers that are inclusive and representative of the communities they serve
Meet or work towards the Mayor’s Good Work Standard, including becoming an accredited Living Wage employer paying the London Living Wage (LLW).
