Bio:
Tommy Hatto is an award-winning entrepreneur, actor, and mental health campaigner.
With a social media presence of over a quarter of a million followers, Tommy uses his platform to raise awareness on important wellbeing topics such as body image, men's health, sobriety and fitness. It is through Tommy's own journey facing some of these issues which has allowed him to initiate conversations amongst young people online and offline globally.
After leaving school, Tommy was thrust into the limelight by none other than Dustin Hoffman, who after a chance encounter at an event in London, encouraged him to pursue a career in acting. This journey led to Tommy starring alongside some of Hollywood's biggest names, in movies such as Thor 2 and The Maze Runner 3. He has also travelled the world to front global modelling campaigns for Calvin Klein, Rayban and GQ. In 2015, Tommy was named one of The Hollywood News' "Top 25 to watch". Tommy launched THO, a creative culture agency in 2022, and has delivered strategic campaigns and impactful DEI keynotes for FTSE 100, FTSE 250 and globally recognised companies. This led to Tommy winning a Mental Health Award in 2022, and being a runner-up and finalist at various Wellbeing and Business awards around the country.

Tommy is a founding GEC Circle expert, whose lived experience in modelling and acting has been a powerful source of inspiration for GEC schools and trusts. His student workshops on Colourism have sparked vital conversations—so engaging that students didn’t want him to leave! Tommy’s incredible social media reach and impact also played a key role in the GEC Body Image Report, where over 1,000 young people across 60 countries shared their truths about beauty and social media. Tommy also joined our panel at The Festival of Education 2024.
