Introduction:
Yipiyap stands for ‘Young Inspiring People Inspiring Young Aspiring People.’ We are the peer tutoring experts, providing relatable peer tutors to schools and colleges across the UK.
Our tutors work with school and college teams to deliver bespoke tuition which is tailored to learners’ needs and, by connecting with students on their level, they inspire them to be the very best versions of themselves both academically and personally.
Founded by former Secondary level Maths teacher, Anne Morris, Yipiyap has been instrumental in developing the school/college tuition sector for over 10 years and we can evidence the impact of our tuition in a wide range of settings.
More recently Yipiyap has developed a range of digital services to complement our in-school tuition, including Peerscroller, a resource which catapults PSHE/PD into the 21st Century.
What is Peerscroller?
Peerscroller delivers PSHE/PD content in a way which is relatable and accessible to young people. It mimics the short form video style of TikTok and Instagram reels to present information in a way which is instantly familiar.
The content itself is researched, scripted and filmed in house at Yipiyap in line with PSHE/PD curriculum learning objectives and follows government guidance. The presenters are Yipiyap’s peer tutors who are typically 18/19 years of age. Advice follows that of trusted sources such as the NHS website and Childline.
