Matthew Savage

Member of the GEC Circle of Influence

Bio:

An experienced international school Principal, and architect of The Mona Lisa Effect®️, Matthew works with international schools worldwide, exploring the intersection of wellbeing and DEIJB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice and Belonging) through the prism of kind, warm, street and slow data. Relentlessly committed to helping schools ensure that every single child, without condition or exception, “be seen, be heard, be known and belong”, he draws both on 25 years’ experience of education and school leadership and on the intersectional soup of his own family, to centre those on the edges of visibility and enable them to thrive.

A graduate of Oxford University, he is a member of the board of two international schools, an Advisory Board member for Parents Alliance for Inclusion, and an executive leadership coach with LSC Education. He writes regularly for numerous, international education magazines and blogs and he has been interviewed for numerous podcasts.
